Grand Canyon Jeep Tours - FAQs
NOTICE TO NON-U.S. RESIDENTS
Due to circumstances beyond our control, starting on January 1, 2026, the National Park Service at the direction of the Department of the Interior has changed requirements to enter the Grand Canyon National Park.
All customers will be required to show a valid ID before the tour.
The U.S. Federal Government is charging non-U.S. residents (16 and older) a fee to enter the Grand Canyon National Park whether you enter the Grand Canyon personally or on a commercial tour. If you are a United States Resident the additional fees do not apply to you.
All Non-U.S. residents will be required to show their entrance fee pass before the start of their tour.
We recommend you purchase the Non-U.S. Resident “America the Beautiful” Pass before you begin your U.S. vacation. This new pass will cover the entry fee for all National Parks on a commercial tour (or in a private vehicle) for one year. This is valid for the Pass Holder plus 3 additional adults on the same reservation.
Here is the link to purchase the digital version of the “America The Beautiful” Pass online: https://www.recreation.gov/interagency-pass/types/nonresident
If you do not purchase the “America The Beautiful” Pass, you will be required to purchase a $100 per person (16 & older) non-U.S. resident Grand Canyon Entrance Pass in Tusayan, Arizona before tour departure. This Pass is only valid at the Grand Canyon National Park.
Children 15 and under are not required to purchase a pass.
There are several scenarios that make it advantageous to purchase the $250 Non U.S. Resident America the Beautiful Pass:
- If you are traveling alone, and visiting 3 or more National Parks in a year
- If you are travelling with a total of 2 people, and visiting more than 1 National Parks in a year
- If you are traveling with a total of 3 or more people and visiting one or more parks
- You may purchase a digital version of this pass Online at Recreation.gov
- You may purchase the pass at several of the Pass Machines in Tusayan and at the Park Entrance Gate
- You may purchase the pass in person at thousands of Federal Locations
If you are a Non U.S. Resident and you have reserved and paid for your tour through a 3rd party reseller (such as Viator, Expedia, etc.), you will still need to pay the Non. U.S. Resident Entrance Fee by the start of your tour UNLESS you have already purchased the Non Resident America the Beautiful Pass.
Yes, all Non Residents age 16+ must either purchase a Non Resident America the Beautiful Pass for $250 (valid for entrance for up to 4 adults ages 16+) or pay the $100 per adult (ages 16+) Non Resident Fee.
This fee was NOT included in the price of your tour.
