Grand Canyon Jeep Tours & Safaris just celebrated 20 years of operating at the Grand Canyon and we couldn’t be prouder! To commemorate the years, our guides joined us for a photo op at the edge of the Canyon.
Grand Canyon Jeep Tours & Safaris was established in 1993. At this time no other company was offering tours through the forest to the edge of the Grand Canyon. After many hours spent with forest archaeologists and biologists, we developed a fact filled, eco-tour that highlights the beauty of the area with knowledge of the forest and the Grand Canyon.
The first two tours we offered were the Grand Sunset Tour and the Indian Paintings Tour. The Grand Sunset takes guests to the edge of the Grand Canyon via the Kaibab Forest. The tour follows an old stagecoach trail to many different sites in the forest and ends with guests watching the sunset at the edge of the Canyon – a site not to be missed. Our second tour, the Indian Paintings Tour visits a site of Native American predecessors where guests learn about these people while viewing up close ancient rock art. Over the years we have added tours and now offer 6 different tours that highlight the uniqueness of the Kaibab Forest and Grand Canyon National Park.
